Breeze 2 not clicking on tank (2nd Failure)

I am not seeing anyone here mentioning this. I have purchased 2 Breeze 2 units and BOTH of them stopped working in under 3 months. The little plastic clips that hold the tank on the battery keep breaking. The warranty costs $10 plus shipping so its just as easy to just buy another but I should not have to. I LOVE this one better than my original Breeze but I can't keep buying them because they break.
Can anyone at Aspire comment or help?
I am going to buy the Aspire Nautilus AIO and hope this one lasts longer.
Help anyone if you can.
FYI KandyPens gives a lifetime warranty which I wish you guys did also.
Thanks

  • I'm on my 2nd Breeze2. I like the unit, but they have an issue. The little tabs that hold the pod in break VERY easily! My first one broke off right at the edge of the hook. My 2nd one just broke today, but a little further down on the hook piece. Both units lasted about a month (just AFTER the warranty expired!!!) before they broke I don't know if the rubber stopper is causing them to break or what, but now the pods do not snap in and do not hit! I wish they would sell parts to fix this problem, but for now I have to put a rubber band around the battery and pod to make the coil contact the battery and hit. I LOVE the unit, but this issue needs to be addressed! If they were smart, they should replace it with a metal clip instead of the plastic part.

If the product out of the warranty period, users can just buy the battery part from online store for replacement

  • The clips broke on my breeze 2 after about 2 months. Figured it was my fault.
I loved everything about the unit so I bought 2 more.
The clips broke in both within 1 month!
Very disappointed in this major design flaw and waste of Money.
One fix is to bend the metal to grip the tank tightert this works somewhat until I choose my next brand. Too bad because I really liked every thing else.
    Feel ripped off.

  • Im also on my second breeze 2. i only had my first one for a couple weeks before one clip broke and then the other clip broke the following week. i just bought my new one a week ago. it was this or the MI-pod. I love the product but the plastic clips should have been metal or something that wont break easily

  • Yes, my pod wouldn't stay connected either. I was looking around here for some tips to fix it, but couldn't find any that work. Luckily I was still within the warranty from the online store I bought it from and they allowed me to return it for free and are sending me a new one!

  • I found the best way to avoid breaking the connecting clips on the Breeze 2 as well as the Nautilus AIO is to hold the unit upsidedown and then press the clip buttons and dropping the pod unit into the palm of your hand. This will avoid accidentally pulling up on the pod when one of the clips has not been fully depressed. So far, no customer complaints on my end from customers at the B&M where I work.
  • Same situation. I've purchased two of these units within the past few months and both are now broken due to the shoddy design of the clips. Since this seems to be a common occurrence with posts here and on reddit, perhaps you could sell replacement clips? Purchasing a new battery for $23 when a simple clip is broken is hardly an acceptable solution.
  • Just got my Breeze 2 today and both clips broke less than 12 hours of purchasing, headed back to the shop tomorrow to get a refund or replacement. This is the second device I got from Aspire in less than 2 months, the first was the Aspire Spryte. Not sure if Aspire is the vape device for me.

  • I am also on 2nd Breeze 2. Extremely disappointed about the quality as the clips broke on both units within a month. Aspire designed a crappy clips and won't stand behind their products if you are out of 1-month warranty when there is a clear design flaw. I'm done with Aspire. I'll be buying Innokin EQ.
  • I am very disappointed in the Breeze 2. The clips on both my units broke and were replaced under warranty. The replacement pods wont even snap in WITH the clips. I invested in 2 units, extra ods and coils and the Breeze 2 has a design flaw that won't be getting fixed. Aspire should offer an upgrade path for folks who bought into the units they sold that were knowingly defective. Smells like a class action suit.
