Plato atty adapter stuck

Hi!

I have an Aspire Plato and I've been using it for months, now I have an issue. I want to change my atomizer and the adapter (I'm using a Triton Mini TC coil) is just spinning on the top but it won't budge. I can't tighten on loosen it.
Any ideas?

I checked the tips but it's not helpful in this case. The lower part of the fastening screw looks a bit out of place. I attached a photo.
