i ordered a k4 starter kit from a local retailer, their site let the order go through even though they didnt have the k4 in stock.
after realizing the issue the store phoned me and said they would send me something on par and still kit like. i accepted.
today i received a cleito tank and a Aspire CF SubOHM battery/mod now it seems to be running with no issues not as much vapor as i was expecting to see it produce but i am new to vaping and maybe expecting to much for a small kit.
now after looking into this battery etc, im noticing it says it will fire a .3-1 ohm coils does this mean it will not fire the .2 that comes with it as a spare? or the .27's i picked up as spares for the k4 kit?
You are correct.
CF Sub Ohm-
Output Voltage 4.2V full power output
Maximum current 40A
Available Capacity 2000mAh rechargeable
K4 -
Max Output Voltage: 4.2V some sites say 5.5, which would make the difference? but which is proper specs?
Output Current: 20A - 30A
Capacity: 2000mAh
You should always glean your information from the Aspire website. The CF Sub Ohm here: https://www.aspirecig.com/products/MOD/mod185.html
and the K4 here: https://www.aspirecig.com/aspire-kit/aspire-kit255.html and the user manuals here: https://www.aspirecig.com/downloads/
2000mah is quite vague no? maybe i'm just missing something.
either way, i have put the .2ohm coil 55-70w, on the cf sub ohm battery
it seems to function perfectly fine. so a little confused but not as disappointed.
also thanks for the feedback =)
Using a coil with resistance lower than recommended for that battery can cause the battery to prematurely fail and possibly vent. NOT a good idea. I would use a 0.3 ohm coil or higher. When I used my CF sub ohm, I ran an Atlantis tank with a 0.5 ohm clapton coil and it was great! I highly suggest that you get a coil which is compatible with the specifications of the battery you are using. Otherwise you are flirting with disaster.
