Well I just got off the phone with eBay Customer Service. Do not trust anyone's 100% feedback. Especially power sellers. They have influence over how their feedback history is recorded. They can be knowingly selling fakes, and eBay will remove the negative feedback left, for fear of losing profit.
I was sold a blatant fake. I left this feedback: "knowingly sold fake/imitation Aspire K1-no scratch code. RUDE. Fought for refund"
And it was then removed. This ticks me off, and you can read the transcript if you want to know why.
This is the story:
So obviously I bought an Aspire K1 Glassomizer top. ALL Aspire products come with a "scratch and verify" code to stop counterfeiters. The one I bought from ebay did NOT. This is not subjective, this is black and white.
I called eBay customer service twice, and was connected to a "feedback specialist" and was told that although she agrees I was in the right, and totally justified for leaving that feedback, and the feedback SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMOVED, she can't put it back. Her hands were tied.
Plain as day, black and white. I was sold an obvious fake, I left negative feedback, and it was removed, leaving the fraudulent seller with clean feedback again, and eBay knows about it, and admitted it was unjustifiably removed, but will not put it back.
This seller will continue selling fakes and nobody will know about it, and those that do, get their negative feedback removed by eBay.. So here I am posting it on here, so people can beware.
This is the screenshot of the conversation between me and the seller, proving he is in the wrong and selling fakes (Start with the first image, the messages go from bottom to top):http://imgur.com/a/itpgC
If anyone wants the link to the actual auction, PM me. I won't leave it up here. My beef is with eBay, and not the seller. Even though the seller is selling fakes, and was rude, I got my refund. EBAY is the problem here, as well as the seller who sells fakes.
