Aspire Triton "Airflow for Triton Drip Tip" won't stay down.

This is the second Triton I have had this happened to. No matter what I do it just won't stay down. I've tried cleaning it, flushing it, forcing it down, even tried to heat up the o-ring to try to get it to fit better. When trying to force it down multiple times it creates a pumping action. It forces juice into the atomizer and thus it leaks out the bottom airflow.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Close it with the upper airflow in the "open" position.
On the pictures, you do it in the "closed" position.

Is it an authentic Aspire tank?

You are missing the upper o-ring. Is it caught inside the fill chamber?

@Old_Salt It is an authentic Aspire. I checked the code.

@Subroto It looks like they sell that part on the Aspire website with both o-rings intact. See the link:

Could you post pictures of the inside and one of the entire upper part ?
The o-ring seems a bit bigger, is it an original one ?

you are missing the big rubber O ring that goes above the small one .

This tank was a disaster for me. I just went and ordered a Triton 2 and hope they fixed the problems.

I like top filling way too much.

Resurrecting an old thread but in case anyone else has this issue, it's caused by the tiny o-ring inside the airflow being a fraction to thick. I used to be able to overcome it by twisting it as I pushed it on but that doesn't work anymore. I hooked the o-ring out and it fits on just fine without it and it's held firm by the external o-ring. Incidentally, I never had the larger o-ring on mine either.
